Via Privé limits access to your personal information to our employees who we think necessitate the need of access to that information in order to provide service and products to carry out their job. We maintain safeguards that follow federal regulations that protect your personal information; these safeguards are physical, electronic and procedural.
Protecting Your Information
Via Privé does not share your personal information with anyone outside of our company that is not affiliated with us. We only share you information in order to provide products/services you have requested, if you have given us your permission to do so, or under these circumstances:
We share the information to our trusted partners who work for or with Via Privé and within our confidentiality agreements. These partners may access your information and use it to help Via Privé communicate with you about our special deals or news.
We will answer and follow orders of subpoenas, court orders, other legal process, to establish or exercise our rights as a company or to defend ourselves against legal action.
The Via Privé web site involves procedures of physical, electronic and administrative nature to safeguard your confidentiality. These procedures include Safeguard Sockets Layer (SSL) for financial transactions. We use Safeguard Sockets Layer encryption to protect your online information, and we also protect that information in our offices and facilities. Your personal information and access to it is always restricted. Our staff who needs to access your information to perform their role or carry our services for you, are granted this access. Lastly, we depend on third-party providers for the physical security of our computer hardware. After research and experience, we believe and support that their security measures and procedures are sufficient.
We follow the industry-standard precautions to protect your personal information, though we cannot 100% guarantee your security. This type of complete security does not currently exist online or off.
