I grew up in New Hampshire with a life full of family, friends, and lots of love. After 15 years combined of gymnastics and ballet, I needed to rest my body due to hip and back injuries. I first came on to my yoga mat in April 2003 and knew after my first class that this was the movement practice I needed and wanted in my life and that I wanted to be a yoga teacher one day. I spent a semester in India studying the spiritual parts of the practice, as well as the asana every day. In February 2010 I completed my 200-hr teacher training through YogaWorks with Natasha Rizopoulus at Back Bay Yoga Studio in Boston. I owe many thanks to Natasha Rizopoulus, Julia Tirabassi, Georgia Reath, Kevin Courtney and Lynne Begier for being inspiring teachers in my life. I infuse my classes with smart sequences as well as love and kindness for your body, heart and mind. I strongly believe that there is a yoga practice for anyone who wants one. You will be able to challenge yourself, take care of yourself, and get to understand your body through your practice in my classes. We will breathe, stretch, flow and smile. Om Shanti.
